For me was the same, though I did loved their other stuff — not the last album unfortunately— but back in 2010 I used The catalyst as my graduation song. It spoke to me so much — I wasn't going through a good period of my life — and that's why I always loved LP, Hybrid Theory/Meteora both helped me so much. I remember singing out loud and letting things go while yelling all the lyrics. I completely agree and see myself when you talk about losing a part of such an important phase of your life. When we are 14 we are confused, all over the place, all the feels and music always helped me. I am still shocked and sad, and again, same happened with Chris Cornell. I did expressed my feelings, I usually don't post on facebook but I did this time because Chester and LP were a huge part of my life, it was the moment I was discovering new artists, sounds and in a sense, they were essential to mold what I've become.
