15 Tips to Mykonos
Mykonos is my favourite destination in Europe for summer. Luckily, it’s my friends’ too.

This summer, I and the other four girls went there, where we met with a bigger group of lively party people!
You can find 15 cool tips about the city here. I’m not going to talk about the beaches here. Maybe in another post ;)
WHERE TO STAY

Airbnb
Go for an Airbnb at Dragan’s Villa. It accommodates two couples + 2 friends beautifully. The house is close to Alemagou and Spilia Restaurant. The house is much, much more fantastic than in the Airbnb pictures. Some friends of friends rented a house in Ornos neighbourhood, which could be fun and closer to the Old Town/city centre.
Hotels
If you are willing to spend more, go for Cavo Tagoo (good SPA area and Views) or Bill & Coo (one of the best services I’ve ever experimented and a beautiful pool that looks like the sky at night).
Want a hotel, but not so expensive one? We stayed at Ftelia Boutique hotel. Very close to Alemagou and have nice bedrooms — be sure that you are ordering one that is renovated.
WHERE TO EAT

Spilia
You have to go there. Fresh seafood and a good selection of wines. The restaurant’s environment gets even more lively close to the sunset.
Kiki’s Tavern
You have to wait a little bit, but it’s worth it. Fresh, delicious food directly to your table with a fantastic view and a relaxed crowd.
Chez Katrine
I love their waitress. You feel special. Build a connection with them, and you have the best and most lovely treatment possible. I’ve met Peter Dundas and Bianca Brandolini there twice — I guess they like it ;)

Avra
Puff! My every time favourite in the old town. Great staff, you feel like home. Delicious food and great for pictures, once you are in a secret garden in the middle of Mykonos Old Town. It’s very romantic!
Scorpios
You may know Scorpios for its parties and sun beds, but let me tell you: the food is amazing, and the prices are fair — yes.
We ordered the lamb leg for three people, but we ate it in five — it was so big and meaty. Something we keep talking about even days after having it.
We had a bottle of wine there that just blew our minds, the Viognier Eclectique Spilitsa. It’s complex with a long aftertaste and smoky character, almost liquorice. We ordered a giant bottle of it (1,5L) and drank it smiling.
BEACH CLUBS

Principote
If you want a sunbed with decent space between people around you, full catering service and even massages, this is the place. Not only the structure is impressive, but the beach is also lovely, with crystal clear water.
We had lunch there and ordered the whole fresh fish which is delicious but expensive. Here is the thing. If you are from Brazil, fresh seafood is available everywhere, so we don’t need to pay that much to experience it. After or before you can dance in the tables and have a blast!

Scorpios e Alemagou
You can also have sun beds here in these party places. Beautiful view, but the beach is not as amazing as in Panormos, where Principote is.
*I wouldn’t book a sunbed at Nammos. It’s way too crowded. But, the restaurant is good, and now they have an open sky shopping that is fun and trendy.
NIGHT LIFE
Moni
Our favourite spot for a late night party. It gets lively around 1 am when people leave from Scorpios and come to Moni after stopping by for drinks at Interni — this was our lucky ritual, haha.
No flip-flops or shorts for guys and too much of a bling-bling girls won’t get inside either. Keep it cool and sexy.
Alemagou
Solomon plays there every Wednesday. Do I need to say anything else?
Scorpios
Great food, great party after sunset. You can wear some sexy nonchalant heels here and dance a lot!
Astra
In the middle of Old Town, this is perfect to go after grabbing drinks at Ling Ling or Interni. Lively crowd, but I’ll go to Moni afterwards.
HOW TO MOVE
Rent a car or call a driver
There’s no taxi in the Island. If you drink, don’t drive, call a driver. I have two contacts from serious and respectful drivers that I can share if you wish.
Now, enjoy!!!
