Lossless Web Navigation with Trails

As I read about the “pizza example”, I thought it would be even better if the search engine could have the option to embed the web pages (when clicked) in the original search results page. This would save opening 10 tabs as you could preview each search result’s webpage inline. I know a lot of people do a google search, then open up a heap of links in new tabs then slowly browse through the tabs to get the info they want.

Maybe even a popup (Google Maps on iPad has a built-in mini browser so you don’t have to switch to Safari when opening a restuarant’s website etc).
