Thank you Neil. I’m not a same-sex marriage advocate, I’m a freedom advocate. While you insist that marriage is a human mating relationship — the law does not. The Marriage Act makes to mention of biology or reproduction. Marriage under Australian law is an agreement to share the same bed every night for the rest of your life, or until divorce, whichever comes soonest. Reproduction is dealt with under Family Law which operates independently of the Marriage Act and is a much stronger legal bond. Without children the dissolution of a marriage is a simple matter whereas dissolving a family is almost impossible.
