An Angry Man
He’s white and older in America and he is angry at all the wrong things.
He’s angry about school shootings and he screams at the television while cleaning and oiling his guns.
He’s angry about “subversive” books that tell a story that is not his own.
He’s angry that the world of 2023 is not the world of 1945.
He’s angry that underrepresented people want a voice and an end to discrimination and violence.
He is angry at women for denying him his “god given rights” as a male.
He is angry at the LGBTQ+ population for daring to insist that they are human.
He is angry at teachers for trying to introduce a modicum of awareness to their students.
He is angry at people who try to “rewrite” history by claiming that slavery was not a good thing all the while denying that the holocaust ever happened.
He is angry at people who would try to take away his right to drive a massive truck by claiming that they endanger the environment.
He is angry that people would try to take away his “freedom” by forcing him to take reasonable precautions during an ongoing worldwide pandemic that has killed almost 7 million people.
He is angry at people who have “made up” the climate crises to serve their own ends.
He is angry because he supports banning books while claiming to hate Nazis.
