On the run

The girl’s eyes widened. “I thought we got rid of it…” Carrie whispers. “I don’t know the right place to hide it.” Adam replies. She thought for a second. Where can we hide something so important? “If anyone finds this we will be in jail forever.” “We need a place the police would never think of going.” Carrie says. “Maybe the woods behind Emerson park, or that man made lake nearby?” Adam explains. “No we need to go further, like maybe even out of the country.” Carrie says. “Out of the country?” Adam questioned. His hands began to sweat. He had never left the United States. Airplanes frightened him to death. “Get in the car were leaving. Put it in the trunk, and don’t let anyone see.” Carrie whispered. Without out question Adam picked up the black body bag. He held his breath to avoid the rancid smell. They began to walk across the street to Carrie’s car. Adam struggled to carry the heavy bag, it felt around 100 pounds. Carrie opened the trunk. Adam placed the bag inside the truck and quickly slammed the door. He walked around to the passenger seat and buckled his seatbelt. Carrie began to drive forty over the speed limit. “We have to get out fast. If anyone finds out we killed her, we will spend the rest of our lives in prison.”
