Nine books! I finished nine books this month, and what a range of stories they were. Comedy, mystery, memoir, love story, thriller, I touched on them all.
My favorite novel this month was an ARC from Lucy Foley. Her book, The Midnight Feast, was truly captivating. It currently has a release date of June 18, 2024, and you should definitely add it to your list of books to read! There’s mystery, murder, old grudges, and thriller vibes all wrapped up in one tome. It was so well done, and wrapped up lovely at the end. Some books beg for a sequel, and this one didn’t. It would truly ruin the story if there was.

Perfectly Wicked: A Novel
This was also an ARC, and is due out September 17, 2024. Go put a reminder in your calendar, as this is a cozy fall must read. It’s witches, and love stories, and family coming together to work as one. Unlike the previous book in this post, this one leaves you wanting more. You’ll want a whole series, just so the open ending can keep going!
None of the books I read this month were bad. I thoroughly enjoyed all of them. The two highlighted stood out as must reads though. I’m so excited to read more this coming month, and see where those books will take me.
