ABOUT Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell, (born December 18, 2001) known professionally as Billie Eilish, is an American singer and songwriter born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.

With a unique position of working with her older brother Finneas, her co-writer and producer, she’s taken the internet by storm with her haunting vocals and eerily beautiful lyrics and production that was poised to breakout.

For Billie, creating music wasn’t always her niche — dancing was. Born and raised in the entertainment mecca of Los Angeles, from a family comprised of musicians and actors, Billie was enthralled in the spotlight of dance. However, amid a growth plate injury in 2015, occurring in practice for a recital she was dancing eleven hours a week for, she became an underground pop sensation.

Singing and songwriting had never been unknown to Billie, having written her first song at four and joined the Los Angeles Children’s Choir at eight. So when her dance instructor was looking for a song to choreograph, Billie, with help from Finneas, created “ocean eyes.” The two also agreed to upload it to SoundCloud, where it went viral with over two million streams, landing her a record deal with Interscope.

From there, several remixes spawned and a follow-up single “Six Feet Under” was released the following year.

In 2017, she released her debut EP, dont smile at me, which received mainstream applause and landed her a spot on Apple Music’s showcase for upcoming artists, UpNext. The EP also hit the top 40 on the Billboard 200 on July 19th.

On March 29th, 2019, Billie Eilish released her highly anticipated debut album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? — a record centered around Eilish’s fascination with dreams and nightmares. Two weeks before its release, the album was officially given the title of “most pre-saved album of all time on Apple Music,” with over 800,000 to its name.

“my future” is Billie Eilish’s first release since her acclaimed February 2020 James Bond theme song “No Time To Die.”

After almost a month away from social media, Eilish returned on July 24, 2020, to announce the track and its release date.

The 18-year-old star took to social media on Friday (July 24) to announce that a new song, “My Future,” will be arriving on July 30.

Eilish then shared the release time and teaser art on Tuesday (July 28). Looks like the song will drop at 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT.

The song will follow her recent theme to the 2020 007 film, No Time to Die and her emotional 2019 track, “Everything I Wanted.” Though Eilish has not revealed plans for a sophomore album yet, her 2019 debut When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? landed her atop the Billboard 200 and won two Grammys for album of the year and best pop vocal album.

Billie Eilish is scheduled to release her new cut “my future” this week.

The 18-year-old announced the news on social media, revealing that the single will drop July 31. “my future” follows her haunting James Bond theme song “No Time to Die” in February, and will be her first non-soundtrack release since 2019’s “everything i wanted.”

Eilish released her GRAMMY winning debut album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? in 2019 and had plotted a world tour for 2020 prior to COVID-19. Although the tour was cancelled, she did share the short film Not My Responsibility — a visual Eilish premiered at a show in Miami — online, tackling the issue of body shaming.

Billie Eilish No Time To Die Lyrics

[Verse 1]
I should have known
I’d leave alone
Just goes to show
That the blood you bleed is just the blood you owe
We were a pair
But I saw you there
Too much to bear
You were my life, but life is far away from fair
Was I stupid to love you?
Was I reckless to help?
Was it obvious to everybody else?

[Chorus]
That I’d fallen for a lie
You were never on my side
Fool me once, fool me twice
Are you death or paradise?
Now you’ll never see me cry
There’s just no time to die

[Verse 2]
I let it burn
You’re no longer my concern, mmm
Faces from my past return
Another lesson yet to learn

[Chorus]
That I’d fallen for a lie
You were never on my side
Fool me once, fool me twice
Are you death or paradise?
Now you’ll never see me cry
There’s just no time to die

[Refrain]
No time to die, mmm
No time to die, ooh

[Outro]
Fool me once, fool me twice
Are you death or paradise?
Now you’ll never see me cry
There’s just no time to die

“No Time to Die” serves as the theme song to the 25th James Bond film, No Time to Die. The song was announced by Billie on January 14, 2020.

The song explores a theme of romantic betrayal, in line with hints from the film’s trailer that dark secrets will be revealed about Bond’s Spectre love interest, Dr. Madeleine Swann.

Musically, Eilish and FINNEAS make reference to classic musical Bond tropes, incorporating familiar strings and tremolo guitar lines, jarring brass, and its final, signature minor 9th chord, which also closes Monty Norman’s original Bond theme.

The song follows in the fabled series of theme songs seen in the film franchise, featuring the likes of mega-hits such as “Skyfall” by British singer Adele, “Live and Let Die” by The Beatles artist Paul McCartney, and “Goldfinger” by Shirley Bassey. The song takes the same title as its accompanying film, No Time to Die.

Billie Eilish when the party’s over Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Don’t you know I’m no good for you?
I’ve learned to lose you, can’t afford to
Tore my shirt to stop you bleedin’
But nothin’ ever stops you leavin’

[Chorus]
Quiet when I’m coming home and I’m on my own
I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that
I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that

[Verse 2]
Don’t you know too much already?
I’ll only hurt you if you let me
Call me friend, but keep me closer (Call me back)
And I’ll call you when the party’s over

[Chorus]
Quiet when I’m coming home and I’m on my own
And I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that
Yeah, I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that

[Bridge]
But nothin’ is better sometimes
Once we’ve both said our goodbyes
Let’s just let it go
Let me let you go

[Chorus]
Quiet when I’m coming home and I’m on my own
I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that
I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that
