Canister.App is excited to announce the release of Canister Tiers from next launchpad. The Canister Tiers have been designed with real user needs in mind, and we hope their implementation will lead to a smoother, more satisfactory Launchpad, Airdrop experience for future participants.
What Canister Tiers Look Like
There will be 3 Canister Tiers, a model we will tweak and adjust to optimize performance and integrate community feedback.
NOTE: CANIC NFT card holding must be required.
The tiers are:
Citizen | 1X Allocation | Holding Citizen card.
Pioneer | 2X Allocation | Holding Pioneer card.
Legendary | 5X Allocation | Holding Legendary card.
How Tiers Will Work.
From now, in the interest of keeping a base allocation size of at least 1 NFT allocation per participant, the lower tiers might only give you a chance at getting an allocation (for maximal fairness this will be decided by a lottery)
Specifically, this means that if the total NFT for sale divided by the number of base allocations registered is above 1, everybody gets a guaranteed allocation (Example: Project X offering 1000 NFT for sale, 1000 allocations registered, everybody gets 1 NFT allocation times their multiplier).
If the number of allocations requested is high enough that participants base allocation would drop below 1 NFT, the lowest Tier (Citizen) would become a lottery so that higher tiers can keep a guaranteed allocation of at least 1NFT.
Once Citizen Tier reaches a 0% chance of winning, Pioneer Tier will start becoming a lottery, and so on.

FAQ
- I am holding Citizen, Pioneer and Legendary cards, do I have to split into multiple wallets to register?
No, you can keep them in a single wallet, the system will calculate and allow you to subscribe to the appropriate Tiers, as long as you keep them.
Example: You have 3 Citizen cards, 2 Pioneer cards and 1 Legendary card in the same wallet, You have:
+ 1x5 Legendary Allocation (Guaranteed)
+ 2x2 allocation of 2 Pioneer cards (Guaranteed)
+ 3x1 distribution of Citizen, In case of lottery, the more Citizen cards you hold, the higher your odds of winning the lottery.
- Do I have to pay for whitelist registration?
No, you don’t pay any fee.
- Am I required to register? Or just register a smaller allocation than specified?
You can opt out of that Launchpad, or sign up for less than the allocation for your Tier, for example you have 1 Legendary card, you can sign up for 3X allotment (instead for 5X), the remaining allocation will be added to the Citizen Tier.
