Strategies for Thriving in Your First Product Design Role
Chris Chan

This is a very good list. I’m inspired to share my rules for feedback: I ask my feedback providers to give me context and frame that context as either validation, correction or completion. If their feedback is outside of those frames, it generally falls into bias/opinion. Rather than dismiss it, I ask the team to vote on the request to get everyone else’s feedback. That way one person does not elevate their own opinion and hi-jack the design/requirements.
