I was glad to read this as well. I thought Boris was especially insincere and opportunistic and basically disgusting.

This whole issue and the associated politics reminds me so much of the situation in the USA, where one side uses facts and evidence and makes use of experts of their fields to make their choices and the other side does the opposite: This is the way it is, because I say so and because I want it, and nothing you say will convince me otherwise (including vast amounts of evidence).

So to me this Brexit vote has always been the equiv. of a GOP vote to build a wall, which will supposedly solve a problem and make things a lot better for “regular people” but with no actual evidence to back it up.
