THE BIGGEST PREDICITON OF RICK AND MORTY

Rick and Morty just released a new episode and it started with continuity which I loved.

We get to see evil Rick or PRIME Rick, the original Rick who killed Rick C-137’s family. We already know that Rick cares for his family no matter how many times he denies it. We’ve seen it in the toxic Rick and Morty episode and Rick isn’t just kind because he needs Morty as bait, He cares because he’s the rick that valued his family.

We know from his backstory that ever since his family was taken away from him, he started to hunt down Prime Rick but when He failed that’s when he fell into a downward spiral and started to think that life is meaningless. That’s what he’s portraying but deep inside, he still cares. He’s still grieving and hasn’t moved on from Diane and Beth’s death. No matter how many times he says that nothing matters and how many universes he goes to, it still affects him.

I want to go to a tangent where we find out that our Morty is the grandson of Prime rick that’s why Rick went there. And I noticed something about Morty, he’s a bit like his grandfather, in a way that he doesn’t care. Morty almost always disagrees with Rick’s projection that nothing matters but I’ve never seen Morty make an effort to go back and save his original reality where his original parents and sister were. We can make the argument that he’s just a kid and he doesn’t know anything but Morty often preaches about goodness like in the indicators episode and the fart who poops gold episode but he bails on his reality like it’s nothing.

We see him shocked in that episode where they left but when he learns more about portal technology and other stuff, all he does is either hump or try to hump Jessica. And yeah, he might get this from his real grandfather Rick Prime.

I’m starting to think Morty isn’t that good of a character but only does well when it’s convenient to him, but not when he really has to sacrifice things. He does what he wants because he wants it not because it’s the right thing to do. He’s faced with this when his real father Jerry escapes from him and states how careless he was leaving them and not even treating them as people.

And of course original Jerry is killed by Rick Prime. Based on what I’ve seen on Rick prime, this is his goal. He figured out portal tech, travelled the multiverse and decided that live is a party and he can do whatever he wants. Now, he wants his ideology to be the ideology of every Rick in the multiverse and so he travels around the multiverse giving Ricks portal guns.

Untill he met a rick that opposes that ideology, A different kind of Rick, the Rick we’re following now. And so he blew his garage down and that’s how the story starts.

It’s the reason these two Ricks are enemies because of their different worldviews. They will have a battle and I think Prime Rick is going to use Rick’s care for his family to trap him. Prime rick will say that in order to beat him, you have to be like him, a Rick that doesn’t care, because that’s his agenda. But his family comes together to one up Prime Rick and it’s proved that caring for your family isn’t so bad after all.

But, we can’t end the story that way, Prime Rick escapes and blows up their place, they survived except Space Beth sacrifices herself and scene.
