Not sure I’m a fan of this term. “Offboarding” sounds more permanent, but things like purchase completion often lead into set-ups for triggers or future interactions. “Offboarding” makes me think of cases where the user is simply not going to come back to the product again.

I like terms like “closure experience” for cases such as those in this section.
