Well can we say India is a social democracy? We pool together our resources (taxes) which are then used for the welfare of society ( govt. Hospitals and schools). I don’t know if this happens in America. Also no doubt we have predatory capitalism and it’s creating artificial scarcity but the government comes to the rescue when things start going out of hand. For example when the American pharmaceuticals started charging exuberantly for medicines, govt interfered and stopped that. Or a better alternative comes along. Also regarding the matter growth, it’s not stagnating the American economy is already so big the percentage increase is low but if you see absolute growth it is still huge.
