Interesting! For a while now I have been pondering the same question. Is our global society ready to stop a nuclear armageddon? What does it take? Can we organize the people of the world to speak in one voice? What infrastructure would that take? Should we start building the networks already?

Maybe some inspiration can be found in Nir Baram’s novel World Shadow, where he speaks of a billion strong strike. Although, I have to admit I didn’t finish it.
