I agree that might work in some cases however I also think that it would create barriers for very early stage entrepreneurs who are using crowdfunding to test the market and prove their concept. It depends very much on if and how the role of crowdfunding platforms change as the industry develops — particularly in response to the issues of failing to deliver. Perhaps other companies will attempt to help this problem rather than the platforms?
