Joost van Lier is the COO of CarbonChain, director of BlueWorld Carbon, and director of Lier Invest, his holding company. Joost is passionate about all things blockchain and crypto and has brought his passions into CarbonChain.

With an engineering background, Joost has a deep understanding of all things tech-related. He has built his career around both renewable energy and tech and is, therefore, the perfect fit for CarbonChain.

After investing in Bitcoin in 2014, he focused on building blockchain-based projects, namely ICOs and research projects, by funding them. He truly believes in the power of blockchain and wants to reconcile his love for the environment with his enthusiasm for tech.
