Cardano DeFi Alliance (CDA) Membership Update
Ardana, COTI, Spectrum
The Cardano Defi Alliance stands firm in our mission to improve the Cardano ecosystem in all aspects. For developers, retail communities, investors, innovators, and dreamers. In the continual pursuit of this improvement, our members are actively building. As an alliance, we also support each other in our pursuits of improvement of the Cardano ecosystem. These are core stipulations for being a full member and adding a benefit to the alliance and the ecosystem.
- Each member of the CDA must be an actively developing partner of the Cardano ecosystem
This rule leads us to remove Ardana as a member, purely because they have found it necessary to halt all operations. They are eligible to re-apply in the future should they restart operations.
- Each member of the CDA must actively contribute to CDA process. Missing 2 mandatory meetings (1 per 4 weeks) initiates probation. Upon failing to show at the next meeting, automatic removal ensues.
This rule leads us to remove COTI as a member, due to missing more than 2 mandatory meetings, being on probation, and failing yet again to attend the next mandatory meeting, and not being active in any other operations.
This rule leads us to remove Spectrum as a member, due to missing more than 2 mandatory meetings, being on probation, and failing yet again to attend the next mandatory meeting, and not being active in any other operations.
A new rule has been added to the CDA following the devastating hits of confidence in blockchain due to other crypto events
- Each member must act in good faith towards one another, upholding the meaning of ‘alliance’, regardless of competition or ecosystem action
**This rule is in place to keep the peace amongst builders of the ecosystem and garner respect, support, and a good image to the public of the process of building on Cardano and all blockchains.
Violation of this rule will lead to an automatic vote of no confidence toward removal from the CDA.
