CDA — Progressing the Cardano Initiative

The CDA continues to stay hard at work in pursuit of our ecosystem goals. Scaling solutions, funding, and continued governance are the focuses in our current operations, as well as adding highly developed and skilled Plutus-built projects to our ranks. However, Education stays at the forefront of CDA focus in tandem with the IOHK, as our view is that education helps build strength, sustainability, and long-term success for Cardano and blockchain as a whole.

The CDA recently appeared on February’s edition of Cardano 360 (https://youtu.be/QTmJ5Z3wuoM?t=4746) , where Damon (Charli3) and Eric (Indigo) speak towards the goals and benefits of the CDA for long term Cardano ecosystem growth and stability, citing that the CDA aims to remove hurdles for future dApp developers.

One of the pain points of Cardano developers is the experience in usability of the PAB and access to Plutus Scripts and libraries. This is a key focus of our initial efforts, to change the current landscape of developer user stories in order to decrease the timeline towards a more functional Plutus build platform to kickstart the birth of the ecosystem. Managing these initial points will assist many projects to launch and goals of early functionality in Cardano.
