Childhood obesity is associated with a higher chance of obesity, premature death and disability in adulthood. But in addition to increased future risks, obese children have difficulty breathing, an increased risk of fractures, hypertension, early signs of cardiovascular disease, insulin resistance and psychological disorders.

In the United States, the number of children affected to this disease has tripled since 1970. Just think about these figures. One in five school-age (6 to 19 years) children affected to obesity.

From great love or something else, we should not overfeed our children. We need to teach them to eat healthy food in small portions but more often and, sure, be active.
