The Long Way Round

This was phenomenally written. Thank you! I’ve done something very much akin to this since I was a child. Getting on the bus to ride home from school, I’d look at all the houses as we ride by, searching their individual spaces and trying to imagine what life was like living there. I’d piece together fragments, based on what I could see…Was the yard clean? Were there kids toys strewn about the steps? Were the curtains drawn tight? How did the light filter through their trees? How did it make me feel? There are so many variables, so many perceptions, so many individual stories playing out around us. Sometimes it’s nice to be reminded of that fact and give a pause to reflect.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
