    Non-Places.‘Non-Places’ is a term primarily concerned with architecture and the sense of displacement we feel in the anonymity of places that fulfill a transient and generic functionality — eg, airports, motorways, supermarkets, cinemas, fast-food chains, et al… I recall a time when I was working in the City (primarily with investment banks) and the first occasion I was asked by my director to prepare a presentation on our consultancy services and fees, etc, for a client.
