CS371p Fall 2019: Week 10
What did you do this past week?
This week so have I started working on and finished the fourth project. It was not a very difficult assignment but it was tricky to meet the requirements that were set. It was a fun and interesting challenge.
For my other courses so have not very much been happening. I’ve gotten and done some homework and went to the lectures, but that is about it. After the midterms so have the tempo returned to normal and I feel less stressed.
This week so have I unfortunately gotten very sick so I haven't been able to do any activities outside of trying to finish my work and resting. I have been spending some time with my mother who is visiting from Sweden. She brought me some Swedish candy and other things that I required.
What’s in your way?
Right now so is the fact the I’m very sick a big struggle for me. I’m having trouble to pay attention to class and focusing on various homework because of the pain. I wasn’t able to fully grasp Vector in class so I’m planning on rereading the notes and learn it. But other than thas so am I confident that I will be able to do what I set out to complete.
What will you do next week?
Since I’ve already finished the project so will I focus on learning and understanding the vector code from class. I’m certain that something similar will come on the final test so I will be prepared. I have also started to do Hackerrank exercises to practice my c++ and problem-solving ability.
What was your experience of the vector implementation?
I thought that it was very interesting but a bit complex. I’ve had some trouble concentrating in class this week so I wasn’t able to fully grasp the concept of what we were doing.
What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
Play around on Hackerrank and improve your c++ and problem-solving ability. It's a great way to prepare yourself for the Hackerrank “final” that we will have later in the semester.
