Eternal Bonds of Love

Time, neither long nor short,
Deceives the heart that yearns.
When cherished ones stand near,
Their presence blinds the turns.

But when they slip beyond our reach,
The veil of time is torn.
We grasp love’s endless, timeless depths,
Though their form no more is borne.

For in the ether of the soul,
Our bond transcends the years.
Love’s essence knows no bounds of time,
Though mortal form disappears.

The love we shared, lingers on,
Immortal, pure, divine.
Though the body fades, the spirit’s flame
Burns steady, ever-entwined.
