I’m glad to see a company doing something about the dwindling quality in news media. Everywhere I look, news that’s shared is going down in accuracy, thoroughness, and going up in opinion and hyperbole. This is all a result of the feedback mechanism online advertising creates for website owners, and hopefully blendle will curtail this.

I think the whole internet needs to go in this direction of micropayments per digital “transaction”, in place of ads. It shouldn’t really be a platform though. We should just have a digital wallet like paypal that’s credited each time we view something and at the end of the month, all accounts are settled. Maximum freedom, minimum overhead, and everyone gets fairly compensated for their contribution to the World Wide Web.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
