Kate, I hope you don’t mind me asking you this question, but you seem like someone knowledgable on the topic. It’s my understanding that the term gender dysphoria is meant to express mental problems that arise from being in conflict with one’s gender identity and likely due to both internal and external pressures. Therefore, not all transgender persons suffer from gender dysphoria or rather, if they do, it’s likely only for a finite period of time. Would you say I’m understanding this term correctly?
