Open Letter to Dads

It’s tough — this role we call ‘dad’. To the dads who carry the weight of the world on their shoulders, but make time to carry their kids to bed. To those who work tirelessly in pursuit of a better life, not for their own, but for their families. To those who are dads to kids who are not blood related — you would bleed for them as if they were your own.

To the dads who think they don’t make a difference, you do. Our kids only care about story time, piggy back rides, looking them in the eyes, hugs and going to the park. Though many times we believe that if we had more (money), we can do more. Perhaps it can take a few bricks off our shoulders, but the only thing that we cannot control is time. So thank you, to all the dads who took the time.

Happy Dads Day.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
