Dear State-U: Please Educate Your Citizens

Americans must have been appalled — but not shocked — to learn that Donald Trump, a man with absolutely zero scientific training, would say to Anthony Fauci, one of the world’s leading scientists, “a guy called me up, a friend of mine from blah, blah, blah,” to tell me about hydroxycloroquine. “That stuff really works!” We all saw the most famous face-palm in history. But could we really understand Fauci’s challenge?
