Leaving IBM to join FieldFLEX
Today is my last day at IBM. It is never easy to leave one of the biggest companies in the world. During my time at IBM, Global Business Services, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many brilliant people and fascinating projects across Canada, USA, and Europe and to learn the newest technologies, methodologies and consulting techniques among many other things. I’ve had good times with excellent coworkers, some great clients and spent long days and nights working with amazing teams around the world. I have been fortunate to meet good friends; many of whom I will continue to keep in contact.
I am pleased to announce that on Monday, I am joining FieldFLEX in an exciting new opportunity as VP of Technology. FieldFLEX is one of the most innovating companies in its area. They have developed best-of-class mobile IWMS apps boosted with IoT, including location-based applications and building/floor navigation.
In my new role, I will have the opportunity to work with a passionate team to lead the growth of the solution portfolio, transform the service level, and expand the global organization. I will be able to use my knowledge and experience applying Agile development with their current Lean approach and also to help improve the development flow of a very aggressive product roadmap.
I am looking forward to starting this new phase of my professional life and am confident that this new chapter will bring many new challenges, experiences, rewards, and friends.
