What do you believe about life?

Observations are colored by our experiences. We all have convictions. These outlooks give us a guide in how we would like to live.

These convictions can be about anything: love, family, friendship, work. Whatever they are, they are ours.

Powerful writing comes from conviction.

No matter the genre, what we want to say is just as important as how we say it.

Aesop’s Fables were always a favorite example of this. The narrative as a vehicle for a conviction.

Before sitting down to the blank page, think to yourself: “What is it that I want to say?”

The readers want to know.
