Has anyone negotiated the sale price of a house? Any tips? I know what they paid in 2015. I’m hoping to ask for help toward closing costs (which could be between $5,000-$10,000 depending on what loan I go with and what incentives I’m qualified for).

Basically, is there advice out there around what a reasonable % profit for a home seller would be? I don’t want to be insulting, but I don’t want to overpay.
