I vote money. I would most enjoy a compensation model based on hard data, like sales bonuses.
When I was a graphic designer, we were considered support staff and got a bonus vaguely lowballed by the boss while the account executives got their based on the amount of money their accounts brought in (in many cases they did not acquire the clients themselves). That model sucked and did not motivate me, because there was no connection to hard/good work = more money.
I do love free food, but just love the freedom that cash brings more.
