My roommate is back in town for the weekend (she’s been in NYC for work for a few months) and I recently realized this is going to be an expensive weekend for me because she wants to eat out a ton. I love eating out, but am trying to budget. #awkward

Today we got lunch ($8). Tonight I’m quickly scarfing leftovers before a 4 hour training to be an election judge. I’m hoping this experience is both patriotic and a good story.

Saturday I might drive roommate to the mall. I plan to return $109 boots and $14 lipstick, and hopefully not buy anything aside from lunch ($15). We are hopefully getting groceries to cook dinner at home.

Sunday is a sort of mandatory fun fancy work dinner thing but laws prohibit anyone from paying for me, so $20 because I’m planning to eat beforehand since it’s super late (for old ladies like me).
