The most annoying this about that dude is that he’s getting his parents to host him and his mom to do all those chores for him for free.

If you live a lavish lifestyle year round, or just on vacation, you’re normally compensating the workers who feed you, wash your clothes, and pay your utility bills.

I’ve lived with my parents a few times and I was part of the household — errands, chores, cooking, AND chipping in financially as appropriate. The last time my parents used the money I paid them in rent to replace the old wall to wall carpet with hardwood floors. It’s something nice that they got to choose.
