Given those issues, the company that sells EpiPens is acting atrociously.
Kids make the cost issue even worse.

Yeah sorry. I didn’t mean to excuse their behavior. I agree with you on this point and those about children and it often being much easier to use the Epi Pen or the Auvi-Q (the one that talks).
But changing the dispenser or other tech stuff is how these companies often get around generics, so I do think that a valid way to combat their assery is to encourage the use of the epinephrine via syringe where safe and possible. I definitely wasn’t trying to say that my experience was the norm or applied to everyone or that having affordable, easy to use epinephrine delivery mechanisms isn’t important — it literally saves lives.
