In todays day an age, there are many options to keep your home safe. You can use the Ring doorbell or the Google Nest. Another good choice is getting an ADT Home Security system installed. If you are a frugal midwesterner you can just get an ADT sign off Ebay for $10. Although of those are good options for home security, but not good enough for J.R. Smith. That is because J.R. Smith IS the home security.

Across the nation protesters have been gathering after George Floyd’s death. A protest has been going ion in Los Angeles for multiple days now, including the Farifax area where J.R. Smith’s car was parked. As you can see in the video below, a protester who had broken a window in Sminth’s car is then beaten up by J.R.

There are multiple takeaways from the TMZ video:

  1. This is not the first time J.R. has been in a fight
  2. This is the first time in years that J.R. has been seen wearing a shirt off court
  3. J.R. Smith will sadly not join Jimmy Butler as a member of the mini van mafia, as his car appears to be the one in front of the minivan

4. This is the thing we all expected J.R. to do

Much like Snoop Dogg ,love him or hate him, there is no denying J.R. Smith is entertaining. (That last sentence doesn’t seem grammatically correct, but I’m going to leave it in) Whether it’s the time he cost the Cavaliers Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals, or his infamous celebrations after the 2016 Finals, he knows how to put on a show. He certainly didn't disapoint Sunday afternoon. Out of all of the ways someone could have reacted to their car getting vandalized, J.R. managed to pick the best one.

Side Note:An aspect of the story that many media outlets are not covering is how quick J.R. ended the other guy. The other guy stood no chance after the first kick. He put together a impressive combination of kicks to the body and even threw in a haymaker at the end. With his basketball future in limbo (Smith has played at all this year and only played 11 games last year), one can’t help but wonder if he might pursue a career in MMA.
