I feel like this article has been written by MicroSoft… i mean this quote “Notepad++ has even more fans than Sublime Text”, how is this even relavent to an article claiming VSCode is the best IDE? It is like writing an article about motor bikes then randomly talking about bicycles.

All the features mentioned in VSCode are pretty much standard in all IDEs so why is VSCodes implementation of these standard ide features any better than the rest, this is what i was hoping to read from an article like this.

Intellisense — in any ide these days

Full Git Integration — in any ide these days

Live Share — in most ide’s in some form or another

Super-Awesome Integrated Terminal — heavily opinionated, try PHPStorms terminal much smoother!

Intuitive Settings Search Engine — :D i mean, tell me a mainstream application that does not already offer this today.

Extensions and Robust Marketplace — “Very few IDEs use extensions to improve the rate and quality of development” this is just false and the opposite is true, code quality tools are what you look for in an ide.
