Marco Marandiz

Hey Marco, what you are describing is a “social entrepreneur”. Have you heard this term before? A SOCENT (yes, that is what we call them) are defined as: “a person who establishes an enterprise with the aim of solving social problems or effecting social change” And “Social entrepreneurship in modern society offers an altruistic form of entrepreneurship that focuses on the benefits that society may reap.” More often than not SOCENT’s work around the world and directly with the global poor (est at 4 billion people, living on less than $1 in their local currency).
