This is a poem I wrote using only the words found in the graffiti at Quincy Quarries in Quincy, MA, plus a few conjunctions. Enjoy.

You are conscious matter.
You’re cute, dank taco.

You say:
Boom, smash, boom.
Fuck life, bless thug life.
Be young, be dope, be proud.
Live, laugh, take acid.
Because chaos is comfort.

I say:
These violent pleasures have violent ends.
Climb; get away.
Make America gay.
Again.
Let love grow.
Because love wins.

You are conscious matter.
You’re beauty, and the beast.

So, fuck you.
Triple six fuck you.
You cup of sloth. You dank black dog.
You’re no crunch wrap supreme.
