An addendum to the above Lucas Dixon, when I say ‘show users what to search,” give them an example comment and mention how long the comment must be. And perhaps describe more what the sentence is being rated against.
Perspective didn’t like short sentences or stand alone words, my assumption is because the data that came from the comments included really long comments (if you’re looking at reported harassment comments between users, I imagine they were longer, drawn out arguments and not “i disagree w/ u” or “u suck”, etx).

not because we didn’t think people would get it, but because the demo needed a lot of text and showing people how much text was necessary and repopulating it, allowed users to see what it was intended to do easier and quicker.
You did that with a gif on one of the pages but what if that was text people could delete and remove or change, but it still had the amount of text on the page.
