ROAD-TRIPPING TIPS.

No matter how far and long you plan to sit in a car on the way to your happy destination, there are always some essentials to pack in for on the road and once you have reached the destination. In this blog-post I will be sharing some of my best tips for food, clothes and much more.

EAT.

My first tip is to eat a decent meal before you get on the road. I know that if I do not eat enough , I feel completely sick and weak. Nobody wants to feel this way especially when you are stuck in a car.

This breakfast is super easy to make.

All that you need is:

  1. Low GI bread
  2. Nutella
  3. Fresh Strawberries
  4. cucumber

Method:

  1. cut your desired amount of strawberries.
  2. toast your bread.
  3. once toast is done, spread a thick amount of Nutella.( the heat of the toast will melt the chocolate)
  4. add the strawberries to the toast.
  5. cut the cucumber into thick slices.

HYDRATE:

By this I mean, Drink Water and/or Coconut water. Humans lose water by doing simple things such as sweating , going to the toilet and even breathing. By drinking a lot of water, you can maintain you water levels in a healthy way.

GET GOOD SLEEP.

Sleep a good amount before traveling so that you are not tired on the road, especially if yo are driving. If you are too tired to drive, you could be putting your life as well as others in danger.

PACK PROPERLY.

Pack things that you might need for on the road, such as magazines, comfortable shoes, juice, a camera, lotion etc.

TAKE PHOTOS.

On the way to your destination there will most definitely be some things that are beautiful, or just memories. It is always a good idea to take photos whether it is with a camera or just your phone.

FEELING REFRESHED.

Whenever I travel, I always pack certain things that will refresh me. Such as body spritzer, lotion, face wipes etc.

CERTAIN THINGS THAT I LIKE TO KEEP IN THE CAR WITH ME.

  1. a blanket for if it gets cold
  2. a glass bottle of water (this will keep it colder)
  3. tissues
  4. hand cleanser
  5. a jersey
  6. a portable charger
  7. head-phones

I hope that this gave you a bit of advice and tips for the next time you travel long distances in a car.

yours sincerely
