Please include a correction and/or remove Adnan Syed’s name from this piece

I completely agree with what the previous comment said. I really like the original piece that you wrote, Laura, except seeing Adnan Syed’s name in there with all the other men who have committed horrible crimes was like a gut-punch and really quite upsetting. The Undisclosed podcast showed that not only is there NO evidence that Adnan was involved in the crimes against Hae Min Lee, but there is significant evidence that he was NOT involved. His conviction was vacated on June 30, 2016 (I realize this is just shortly after your original piece was published). I want to make clear that I am passionate about finding the truth of what happened to Miss Lee and bringing the person(s) responsible to justice. I am confident in saying that everyone who has followed the case and listens to Undisclosed feels the same way. I absolutely want justice for Miss Lee, but I feel it is irresponsible (and poorly researched) of you to include Adnan’s name in with those of the other men.
