I am still trying to figure out the real reason for that decision. It seems OK Cupid provided a valuable feature for free and later realized that it could be a goldmine if commercialized. Most people are livid and few may drop out. Still, many people will be forced to become A-List subscribers instead of moving to a new site, since OKC is still a decent dating site (unless I am unaware of other sites). Someone has to do a market analysis for this decision. And subscribers need to have a consumer union!
