24 Jun / World Cup

These days, WorldCup is the hottest issue in Korea,

and most of the people I know are talking about it.

Yesterday morning, we lost to Algeria by a score of two to four.

We knew that winning to Algeria is not easy, but it was unexpected score;

consequently, many people are disappointed about the match,

especially to Park Ju-young who received a lot of criticisms because he did not move much. (He did not show his best moves.)

Some might blame him because he just took a walk during the game.

He became the member of national team in this world cup even though he does not have good career as football player.

So some foreign press called him as ‘lucky guy’.

In my guess, he has a strong supporter or good background.

Anyway,

as the event starts, I worried on my way to work becasue it is common scenario to see red-devils cheering up for our team in the middle of the streets.

I had expected the cheering to affect the traffic, but because of the poor perfomance of our team, the fans finished their cheering early, so I got to work on time.

Now we have one more match with Belgium this friday.

I heard that Belgium’s football is better than us.

Belgium football team coach said they can win the match even without their 2 main players.

It hurts our pride. I hope our team win to Belgium.
