A traveler’s song

I don’t recognize these stars
They’re not mine
I’m not on that plane
But it’s not headed anywhere
that would make me feel done
Nowhere’s home, nowhere’s not
that space in the sky
between me and the stars
(that are lying, backstabbing
my eyes into black holes
is pulling me apart,
particle by particle til I’m
Distended into ether,
either nothing, or everything
microscope, telescope
Cannot trace, cannot find
My place
