You’re talking two different things here: fear of the unknown and different versus tangible concerns (loss of jobs, racial profiling). For the former, us humans have the same issues. Many of us, particularly those in startups, follow the same fail-fast approach! We also don’t know how our brains work, and they are far more dangerous than an “AI”. Humans have intentionally killed millions of people, but what about “AI”? To pave the road to rational discussions, we need to set aside irrational fears.
