The Cartisan technician popped open the bonnet and the service was underway. He unscrewed the brake fluid reservoir cap. The technician then placed a hydraulic jack underneath the car and raised it up and propped it on a stand.

He removed the front wheels and removed the brake calipers from the brake rotors. The technician removed the brake pads from the calipers and unmounted the caliper bracket from the brake rotor. He removes the brake rotor from the wheel hub of the E-Class.

The technician mounts a brand new brake rotor from Brembo onto the wheel hub. He places the caliper bracket onto the rotor and screws it in place. The technician places a new set of Brembo brake pads into the caliper bracket and seals the caliper cover shut.

He repeats the same process for the left front wheel. The Mercedes-Benz’s left front set of brake pads are equipped with a brake wear sensor which warns the driver when his brake pads are worn and require replacement.
