Cartisan serviced a BMW E90 320d (2010) recently in Bangalore. The customer needed a regular service for his car comprising the following items

  1. Engine Oil Replacement
  2. Engine Oil Filter Replacement
  3. Air Filter replacement
  4. Oil Filter replacement
  5. Fuel Filter replacement
  6. Brakes Cleaning
  7. Complete vehicle check-up

The quotation was provided to the customer and the service team arrived at the customer’s doorstep to carry out the service.

The vehicle was first inspected thoroughly against a Cartisan Inspection Checklist.

Note — Cartisan recommends that a premium car full-service be carried out at a Cartisan Preferred Workshop. In this particular case, the customer had an urgent requirement. Hence, the service was delivered at customer’s doorstep.

The car was raised up and work began in the engine bay where the air filter was removed and replaced with a brand new air filter.

The engine oil was drained out from underneath the engine block by unscrewing the engine oil drain nut. Once the engine oil was completely drained, the oil filter was removed and replaced with a brand new oil filter from Hengst.

The engine was then filled up with approximately 6.5 liters of 5W-40 Mitasu fully synthetic engine oil.

The fuel filter is located underneath the vehicle, towards the left side of the chassis. It is removed and replaced with a brand new fuel filter from Hengst.

Next, the wheels were removed one by one, the brake pads were removed from the brake calipers, cleaned and placed back.

The car was then lowered to the ground and taken for a test drive to confirm that the work was done successfully.

The customer was thoroughly satisfied with the service provided by Cartisan and had a few kind words for us as well!
