Practicing The Subtle Art Of Detachment
Shreya Dalela

Great reading. Non-attachment helps curb our reactive responses and anxiety when things don’t go as expected. Non-attachment helps curb our need for control for a certain outcome that is comforting and safe to our psyche. When we get too attached to a specific belief system, or school of thought, or even relationship, we close ourselves off — to new perspectives, new possibilities, and even new outcomes, risking stagnation, friction and pain. Practicing detachment, staying equanimous, remaining open is courage that helps us move forward and grow. And to me, life is that progress I strive to make.
