Yes you are right that some times is dificult to find the right word for describing a concept, and you end using a word that could have any other meaning. I think that is the hardest thing when coding in english is not being done by a native-english speaker.
Sometimes you have to be pragmatic and use a concept what could help you mantain your code. As you mention, mixing could help you to understand the same concepts with your customers.
Dagplanning sounds much like english, I like how its fits in code ;)
